Abstract

Background: The implementation of Big Data analytics in healthcare has astounding opportunity for enhancing the quality of care, minimizing error and waste, and lowering the price of care.

Purpose: This systematic comment of literature goals to figure out the range of Big Data analytics in healthcare such as its challenges and applications in the adoption of its in healthcare. Additionally, it intends to determine the strategies to conquer the challenges.

Data sources: An organized search of the posts was performed on five main scientific databases: ScienceDirect, Emerald, and Francis and Taylor. The content articles on Big Data analytics in healthcare posted from January 2017 to January 2022 have been considered.

Data extraction: 2 reviewers independently extracted info on definitions of Big Data analytics; applications and sources of Big Data analytics in medical field; strategies and challenges to conquer the difficulties in healthcare.

Results: A absolute of fifty-eight articles have been selected as per the addition requirements and examined. The analyses of these posts located that: researchers don't have consensus concerning the functional definition of Big Data in deep medical. Big Data analytics finds the application of its for medical choice support; optimization of medical operations and reduction of price of care chief struggle in deep adoption of Big Data analytics is non availability of proof of its sensible benefits in healthcare.

Conclusion: This review analysis unveils that there's a paucity of info on proof of real world utilization of Big Data analytics in healthcare.
